- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

To thicken
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Layer ingredients
- Place sliced beef in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add peppers, onion, and garlic on top.
- Make the sauce
- In a bowl, whisk broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour over everything.
- Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until beef is tender.
- Thicken sauce
- Mix cornstarch and water.
- Stir into slow cooker, cover, and cook another 15–20 minutes until thickened.
