  1. Marinate the beef
    • In a bowl, toss beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil.
    • Let sit 10–15 minutes (this keeps it tender).
  2. Blanch broccoli (optional but recommended)
    • Boil broccoli for 1–2 minutes until bright green.
    • Drain and set aside.
  3. Mix the sauce
    • Whisk all sauce ingredients together. Set aside.
  4. Sear the beef
    • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a hot skillet or wok.
    • Cook beef in batches 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
    • Remove and set aside.
  5. Stir-fry aromatics
    • Add remaining oil.
    • SautΓ© garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  6. Combine
    • Return beef to the pan.
    • Add broccoli and pour in sauce.
    • Stir constantly until sauce thickens and coats everything (1–2 minutes).
