Cauliflower

Do you want cauliflower added, or do you want cauliflower used instead of dumplings?
Here are the two most common ways—pick what fits your goal 👇


Option 1: Chicken & Dumplings with Cauliflower Added

(closest to the original, just extra veg)

How to do it

  • Cut 1 small head cauliflower into small florets.
  • Add it to the simmering broth 10–12 minutes before serving.
  • Then add shredded chicken and finish as usual.

Tip: Keep florets small so they stay tender but don’t fall apart.


Option 2: Low-Carb Cauliflower Dumplings (No Flour)

Great if you want a lighter or keto-style version.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup almond flour (or all-purpose if not low-carb)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Steam cauliflower until very soft.
  2. Drain extremely well, then mash or rice it.
  3. Mix with egg, flour, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drop spoonfuls into gently simmering chicken broth.
  5. Cook 8–10 minutes, flipping once, until set.

Result: Soft, tender dumplings with mild flavor.
