Here’s a hearty, easy sausage bake—perfect for weeknights or feeding a crowd 🌭🥔:


Easy Sausage Bake

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lbs sausage (smoked, Italian, or kielbasa), sliced
  • 1½ lbs potatoes, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: broccoli, carrots, zucchini, or cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Toss everything in a large bowl with olive oil, seasonings, and garlic.
  3. Spread evenly on a large baking sheet or casserole dish.
  4. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, stirring halfway, until potatoes are tender and sausage is browned.
  5. Serve hot as-is or with crusty bread.

Variations

  • Cheesy: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or cheddar in the last 10 minutes
  • Southern-style: Add smoked sausage + Cajun seasoning
  • Mediterranean: Use Italian sausage, add cherry tomatoes & finish with feta
  • Honey mustard glaze: Drizzle 2 tbsp honey + 1 tbsp Dijon before baking
