Baked Beef with Sliced Onions (5 Ingredients)

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lb beef chuck, round steak, or stew beef
  • 3–4 large onions, thinly sliced
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Layer the beef in a baking dish or Dutch oven.
  3. Pile sliced onions generously over the beef.
  4. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic, then pour evenly over everything.
