Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved (or diced)
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice

Instructions

1. Cook the Potatoes

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss potatoes with 2 Tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Air fry 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and tender.
  4. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the Steak Bites

  1. Toss steak with 1 Tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Air fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway (cook to desired doneness).
  3. Remove and tent loosely with foil.

3. Garlic Butter

  1. Melt butter in a small pan or microwave.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and let sit 30 seconds to bloom.

4. Combine

  • Return steak and potatoes to the air fryer basket.
  • Drizzle with garlic butter and toss gently.
  • Air fry 1–2 minutes just to coat and warm.

Doneness Guide (Steak)

  • Rare: 5–6 min
  • Medium: 7–8 min
  • Well: 9–10 min

Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd—cook in batches if needed.
  • Add parmesan or fresh herbs at the end for extra flavor.
  • Works great with asparagus or green beans added in the last 5 minutes.
