Cheeseburger Quesadilla

Here’s a Cheeseburger Quesadilla—crispy tortillas, juicy beef, and melty cheese with classic burger flavors 🍔🧀


Cheeseburger Quesadilla

Ingredients (Makes 2 large quesadillas)

  • ½ lb (225 g) ground beef
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ cup diced onion (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese (or a blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil, for the pan

Burger-Style Fillings (choose what you like)

  • Diced pickles
  • Cooked bacon bits
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Mustard or ketchup

Special Sauce (Optional but 🔥)

  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp pickle relish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef
    • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    • Drain excess grease.
  2. Assemble Quesadillas
    • Lay tortillas flat.
    • Sprinkle cheese on one half of each tortilla.
    • Add cooked beef and desired fillings.
    • Drizzle with ketchup/mustard or special sauce.
    • Top with more cheese and fold tortilla over.
  3. Cook
    • Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Cook quesadillas 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve
    • Slice into wedges.
    • Serve with extra special sauce for dipping.

Variations

  • Big Mac style: Add shredded lettuce after cooking.
  • Smashburger vibe: Press beef thin in the pan for crispy edges.
  • Spicy: Add jalapeños or spicy mayo.
  • Low-carb: Use low-carb tortillas.
