Garlic butter steak bites

Here’s a simple, flavorful recipe for Garlic Butter Steak Bites—juicy, tender, and perfect for dinner or snacking 🥩🧈

Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into 1–2 inch cubes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional, enhances flavor)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3–4 tbsp butter
  • 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the steak
    • Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels (helps them sear).
    • Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Sear the steak
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering.
    • Add steak bites in a single layer (don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed).
    • Sear 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, longer for desired doneness.
  3. Add garlic butter
    • Reduce heat to medium.
    • Add butter, minced garlic, and herbs.
    • Spoon melted garlic butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes, coating each piece.
  4. Serve
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.
    • Serve immediately with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or a side salad.

Pro Tips

  • Dry steak well → better crust.
  • Don’t move the steak too much while searing.
  • Garlic burns fast → add after initial sear and keep heat medium.
  • For extra flavor, deglaze pan with a splash of beef broth or white wine after cooking.

If you want, I can give a one-pan skillet version with veggies or an air fryer version that’s super quick and just as flavorful.

Do you want me to do that?
