Crazy Dough Bread
Yields: 1 loaf or 2 small loaves

Ingredients:

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

1 cup warm water (110°F / 43°C)

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 ½–3 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:

Activate yeast:

In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water.

Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.

Mix dough:

Add oil, salt, and 2 ½ cups flour.

Stir until dough forms.

Gradually add remaining flour as needed — dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.

First rise:

Cover bowl with a damp towel or plastic wrap.

Let dough rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes, until doubled in size.

Punch down dough and turn onto a floured surface.

Second rise:

Cover and let rise 15–20 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
