Leftover turkey stuffing balls

Posted on October 30, 2025January 25, 2026 by Admin
Leftover turkey stuffing balls are such a cozy and clever way to use up Thanksgiving or holiday leftovers! Here’s a simple and delicious way to make them — crisp on the outside, soft and savory inside.

🧆 Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls

Makes: 12–16 balls
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20–25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups leftover stuffing (any kind)

  • 1 to 1½ cups chopped cooked turkey

  • 1 egg (to help bind)

  • ¼ cup turkey gravy or broth (optional, for moisture)

  • ½ cup shredded cheese (optional – cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil (for brushing/baking)

Optional for serving: cranberry sauce, extra gravy, or aioli for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Combine ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix stuffing, turkey, egg, and cheese. If it seems dry, add a few tablespoons of gravy or broth until it holds together when squeezed.

  3. Form balls:
Roll the mixture into golf ball–sized portions (about 2 tablespoons each).

  4. Bake:
Place balls on the prepared sheet and brush or drizzle with melted butter or oil.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.

  5. Serve:
Serve warm with gravy or cranberry sauce for dipping.

🧺 Air Fryer Option

Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy and heated through.

🧑‍🍳 Tips & Variations

  • Add chopped herbs like parsley, sage, or thyme for freshness.

  • Mix in leftover mashed potatoes for softer, creamier centers.

  • Make ahead: Form balls and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.

Would you like me to give you a version that uses mashed potatoes and vegetables too (for more of a “leftover mash-up” ball)?
