🍮 Baked Yogurt & Egg Dessert (Yogurt Custard)

Ingredients

1 cup (240 g) plain yogurt (Greek or regular)

2 large eggs

4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste; honey can work too)

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

A pinch of salt

(Optional) zest of ½ lemon or orange for extra flavor
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease 4 small ramekins or one small baking dish. -
Whisk the eggs in a bowl until smooth.

Add yogurt, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Mix until everything is well combined and creamy. -
Pour the mixture into the ramekins.
Place them in a baking dish and pour hot water into the dish to reach halfway up the sides (water bath). -
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the tops are set and slightly golden, but still a little jiggly in the center.

Cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
To Serve

Top with fresh berries, honey drizzle, toasted nuts, or a spoonful of jam.

Can be served chilled or slightly warm.
