Here’s a classic, easy chicken stuffed crescent rolls recipe—comfort-food simple and very adaptable.


Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1½ cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella (optional but good)
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or sour cream (for creaminess)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, cheese (if using), milk/sour cream, and seasonings until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up gently, tucking sides slightly to keep filling in.
  6. Place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Easy Variations

  • Chicken Bacon Ranch: add cooked bacon bits + 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • Buffalo Chicken: add 2 tbsp buffalo sauce + mozzarella
  • Chicken Broccoli Cheddar: finely chopped steamed broccoli + cheddar
  • Mexican-style: add taco seasoning + pepper jack, serve with salsa

Serving Ideas

  • With a simple salad
  • With gravy or cream of chicken soup for dipping
  • As appetizers (cut each roll in half)
