Pizza bread is quick, cheesy, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or easy meal. Here’s a simple, classic pizza bread recipe you can make in under 20 minutes.


🍕 Pizza Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread (cut in half lengthwise)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (or cooked sausage, ham, or veggies)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional toppings: olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions
  • Optional garnish: fresh basil or crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bread
    • Place bread halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Add sauce & seasoning
    • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bread.
    • Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add toppings
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously.
    • Add pepperoni and any other toppings you like.
  5. Bake
    • Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Optional broil
    • Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden, bubbly top (watch closely!).
  7. Serve
    • Slice and serve warm.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra crispy: Toast the bread for 3–4 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Cheesy upgrade: Mix mozzarella with provolone or cheddar.
  • Garlic pizza bread: Brush bread with garlic butter before sauce.
  • Air fryer: Cook at 350°F for 6–8 minutes.

Pizza bread is crispy on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with melty cheese—a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
