Here’s a simple, foolproof Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts 🧄🥬 — crispy edges, tender centers, and packed with flavor.


Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 1½–2 lbs Brussels sprouts
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Optional finish: grated Parmesan, balsamic glaze, or fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven:
    425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  2. Prep sprouts:
    Trim ends, remove loose outer leaves, and cut in half lengthwise.
  3. Season:
    Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Arrange:
    Spread in a single layer, cut-side down for best browning.
  5. Roast:
    Roast 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Finish & serve:
    Remove from oven. Add Parmesan, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

⭐ Tips for EXTRA crispiness:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Use high heat (425°F is ideal).
  • Let them sit untouched for the first 10–12 minutes.

🔄 Popular variations:

  • Honey garlic: Drizzle with honey during the last 5 minutes.
  • Bacon Brussels sprouts: Add cooked, chopped bacon before serving.
  • Cheesy version: Sprinkle Parmesan during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
