One-pot creamy beef and garlic butter pasta

Here’s a delicious, easy, and cozy one-pot pasta recipe: Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta 🥩🧄🍝. Perfect for a fast weeknight dinner with rich, savory flavor and minimal cleanup.


Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef
    • In a large skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
    • Remove excess fat if needed.
  2. Sauté aromatics
    • Push beef to the side, add butter, garlic, and onion.
    • Sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant and onion is soft.
  3. Add pasta and liquid
    • Stir in pasta, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Make it creamy
    • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
    • Cook 2–3 minutes more until sauce is thick and creamy.
  5. Season & serve
    • Taste and adjust with salt and pepper.
    • Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra garlic flavor: Add roasted garlic or garlic powder to taste
  • Veggie boost: Toss in spinach, mushrooms, or peas at the end
  • Cheesy twist: Add shredded mozzarella or cream cheese for ultra-creamy pasta
  • One-pot shortcut: Use pre-cooked pasta—just reduce liquid slightly
