Here’s a bold, flavorful Jerk Lemon Pepper Salmon that’s easy and teen-friendly to make 🍋🔥🐟
(No alcohol, simple ingredients.)


Jerk Lemon Pepper Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1–1½ teaspoons jerk seasoning (adjust for heat)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Zest of ½ lemon (optional but great)
  • Lemon slices, for serving

Instructions

Oven Method (Easy & Reliable)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  2. Season salmon:
    Pat salmon dry. Brush with oil or butter.
    Sprinkle jerk seasoning, lemon pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon zest evenly.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Optional finish: Broil for 1–2 minutes for crispy edges.
  5. Serve with fresh lemon slices.

Pan-Seared Method (Extra Flavor)

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high with a little oil.
  2. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until done.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon on top before serving.

  • Garlic rice or coconut rice
  • Roasted broccoli or asparagus
  • Mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes
  • Simple salad
