Here’s a sweet-and-savory Bacon Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin—juicy pork wrapped in bacon with a caramelized brown sugar glaze 🥓🍖✨


🥓 Bacon Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1–1½ lb pork tenderloin
  • 6–8 slices bacon
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder or cayenne (optional)
  • Optional: 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (adds depth)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking dish or rimmed sheet with foil (easy cleanup).
  2. Season pork
    • Pat pork dry.
    • Mix brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and optional chili powder.
    • Rub mixture all over the pork (spread Dijon first if using).
  3. Wrap with bacon
    • Wrap bacon slices around the tenderloin, slightly overlapping.
    • Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Bake
    • Place pork seam-side down in the pan.
    • Bake 25–30 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Broil (optional but recommended)
    • Broil 2–3 minutes to crisp bacon and caramelize sugar.
  6. Rest & serve
    • Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Tips

  • Use thin-cut bacon so it crisps better.
  • Place pork on a rack in the pan for even cooking.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or green beans.
