Here’s a simple, tender slow cooker pork chops recipe—juicy, comforting, and easy to make.


🍖 Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for browning)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • Optional: mushrooms or carrots

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops
    Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Optional browning
    Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side. (Adds flavor but can be skipped.)
  3. Layer in slow cooker
    Place onions (and veggies, if using) in the bottom. Lay pork chops on top.
  4. Add sauce
    Mix soup and broth together and pour over pork chops.
  5. Cook
    • Low: 5–6 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Pork should be fork-tender.
  6. Serve
    Spoon gravy over pork chops. Great with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.

💡 Tips

  • Avoid overcooking thin chops—thicker cuts work best.
  • If gravy is thin, stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water) and cook 20 more minutes on high.
  • Add a splash of Worcestershire or Dijon mustard for extra depth.
