Here’s a simple and creamy Cream Cheese Chicken recipe—rich, comforting, and perfect for a weeknight dinner 🍗🧀


Cream Cheese Chicken

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves minced garlic)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or chives)

Instructions

  1. Prepare chicken
    • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Make the cream sauce
    • In the same skillet, add garlic (if using fresh) and sauté 30 seconds.
    • Lower heat and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
    • Gradually whisk in chicken broth to create a creamy sauce.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning.
  3. Combine
    • Return chicken to the skillet.
    • Spoon sauce over chicken and simmer 5–10 minutes until chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C).
  4. Serve
    • Garnish with fresh herbs.
    • Serve over rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.

Tips & Variations

  • Add veggies: Spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes go well in the sauce.
  • Cheesy variation: Mix in shredded parmesan or cheddar for extra richness.
  • Slow-cooker version: Combine all ingredients (except herbs) and cook on low 4–5 hours.
