Cheeseburger sliders

Here’s a simple and delicious cheeseburger sliders recipe—perfect for parties, snacks, or a fun dinner.


Ingredients (makes 8–10 sliders)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 8–10 slider buns or small dinner rolls
  • 4–5 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
  • Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, mustard, mayo, onions
  • Optional: butter for brushing buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the patties
    • Preheat oven or grill.
    • Divide ground beef into 8–10 equal portions and shape into small, thin patties (slightly larger than the buns).
    • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cook the patties
    • Stovetop: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties 2–3 minutes per side, until cooked through.
    • Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and bake on a lined baking sheet for 10–12 minutes.
    • Add cheese slices on top during the last minute to melt.
  3. Prepare the buns
    • Optional: lightly toast buns in the oven or on a skillet. Brush with butter for extra flavor.
  4. Assemble the sliders
    • Place cooked patties on the buns. Add desired toppings and condiments.
    • Serve warm.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, mix finely chopped onions or Worcestershire sauce into the beef before forming patties.
  • Mini slider buns work perfectly for party platters.
  • You can also bake assembled sliders in a pan with butter and seasonings for “pull-apart” sliders.
